John-- Your codes are consistent with the malfunction of your Auxilliary Power Control Module. Two of its functions are to supply variable-frequency 110V AC to your compressor and to charge the 12V Auxilliary battery. --Gil On May 4, 2011, at 9:10 PM, [email removed] wrote: >...

Hello John Sorry to say but it sounds like your APCM has failed. The good news is they are still available. The bad news is they are about 5300 list and cost is about 3800 going from memory. It is just about the most expensive part in the truck to replace. Also if I remember c...

This is Noah, Isaac's brother. The truck did have a different battery system - they had converted it to lithium. Had a separate Zivan charger. They were using the original BMS and tricking it into thinking each 4-pack of lithium was a 12V lead acid. They had it working, but th...

Yes they can be left on the charger. A lead truck would be fine but not a good idea with a NiMH truck. For the NiMH most of us feel with good reason it is a risk to let the truck go into the one hour 5 amp maintenance charge. The other issue with the NiMH if your heat pump sto...

Hello Niel You should not worry about some of the sensors gaining faster then the others. As soon as you turn on the key there is so much air movement it would not be long for the pack to equalize. If you turn off the key the pack fan will run for about 5 minutes. I doubt one...

What about using pulsed heating? Have a timer that heats for an hour, then off for 1/2 hour. Repeat that over and over. It will reduce the localized heating and allow things to equilibrate. Stephen in Oakland On Mar 3, 2011, at 9:02 PM, Niel Nielsen wrote: > I've been experime...
