[S10-EV] Paddle Light Stays On

Scott Leck Thu, 9 Jun 2011 20:58:53 -0700 (GMT-07:00) 2011 Thread size 2
Twice in the last three weeks, the paddle icon on the dash has come on during startup and will not go off. As it appears that truck thinks that the charger paddle is still attached, the truck won't move. Both times, after a few minutes, the light does not come on, and everythi...

Sorry for the delay, but I have answered all the eBay questions, including the fellow from Douglasville Ga who wanted to know if I would need a "wench" to load the S-10 onto a transport vehicle. Beth laughed herself silly about that one. ? The truck auction is here:? http://cg...

I put my truck for sale as is on ebay. It still need the APCM. We have our second child due next week and were thinking of selling it anyway. At a minimum it should provide donor parts (including an EV bones battery pack with only 8000 in-town miles on it.) Otherwise it should...

This may not be possible and I may be crazy, but has anyone checked on the specs for the APCM for the Chevy Volt to see if it is compatible in power output and capabilities as the EV1/S10-EV APCM? I am not suggesting that it will plug right it and work, but maybe we can develo...

Yeah, sounds like something either did or is about to go. Good Luck! FEI: I just sold my truck to the Johnsens as parts. It was acting similarly...just before it released its spirit. Pv On May 4, 2011 10:11 PM, <[email removed]> wrote: > Hello John > > Sorry to say but it soun...

Hello John Sorry to say but it sounds like your APCM has failed. The good news is they are still available. The bad news is they are about 5300 list and cost is about 3800 going from memory. It is just about the most expensive part in the truck to replace. Also if I remember c...

Maybe someone else can verify this, but can you leave it on the convenience charger or connected to the paddle charger? I thought these systems were designed not to over charge. Am I right? :Isaac: On Mon, Mar 28, 2011 at 11:59 AM, <[email removed]> wrote: > Greetings All, > >...

An Idea concerning the Power steering module on the S10-EV; it would be less expensive to convert it to manual steering by changing the steering gear box; less required electrical energy from the system; I did this to a 1984 S-15 Jimmy and do not regret the [email removed] MAY...

When I was tracking the Tech2 on eBay they seem to sell for around 1500 to 2000 dollars used. 1100 dollars is a very good buy you did well. There are now fake Tech2 units coming out of China so that is something to be concerned about. The shipping cost would depend on how far...

I was able to get by with a little less. Tech 2 scanner used from ebay was $1100.00, I? charged the batteries individually using 2 chargers that were $100 or so for the 2. I have dropped the pack several times on the garage floor using substantial jack stands and a heavy duty...
