The vehicle I have was owned by the Los Angeles zoo, and spent its first 8 years there. It appears that it was used for only a year or two and developed a problem and got abandoned (at the zoo) for the next 6 years. Jeff rescued it and rebuilt it, and I'm the proud owner now....

The heater tank only holds 3/4 of a gallon. It is amazing but it last a lot longer than you think it would. I would be very sure about biodiesel before using it these heaters are very expensive and have been discontinued. I think kerosene would be a good replacement for diesel...
