I show off my truck several times each year. There is a lot of interest in plug-in vehicles out there. So far, I have not talked about the battery fire issue. However, next summer if there is still no software upgrade from GM, I might start explaining the facts. It would be ve...

Are you getting any other diagnostic trouble codes, especially on the HTCM? Normally a non functional compressor is accompanied by several HTCM DTC's. With your A/C compressor not operating, it's extremely likely that your battery chilling function isn't working also. If the b...

Dennis, Yeah, with 4100 pounds of vehicle weight and the tires inflated to 50 psi, the thing seems to coast quite well. I agree. Someone posted something a couple of years ago about the increase in range of the vehicle with the half-tonneau cover installed. As I remember, it w...

The EV1 had a button to deactivate the regen unless braking was engaged. The RAV4-EV has a button to deactivate its regen as well. Why it was not incorporated into the S10e is something I still don't understand. My gut tells me that there is not reason that a fairly simple cir...

You would need to find two 30A 120V receptacles, one on each side of the line. The S10E requires 208-240V at 30A (which technically calls for a 40A circuit). The standard 120V receptacles that your utility will be installing will be 20A at best, so they are not going to be use...
