I'm building my lithium packs to 13 volt 60 AH. I have to limit charge voltage to each of the 4 parallel packs that make up a module to 3.6v. I looked into removing the BPCM but I would like to keep everything it controls intact. Happy Connecting. Sent from my Sprint Samsung G...

I would expect DTC131 to set in the PCM if the BCA measured voltage and the BPCM voltage over UART do not agree in the situation you're describing. If you were to try rewiring the BPCM to measure all 27 modules between J1-1 and J1-32 then you would expect to see BPCM DTC219 wh...

Ok gang coolant does matter. It must be Dexcool and will say it on the container. AutoZone or Oriellys, yes its typically orange. The conversion to NiMH from lead on the 1997s were not an easy modification. The programming of the BPCM alone was not enough to make it all work....

Kevin, I highly doubt a generic will cover the GM EV codes. Just too unique. I tried a generic tool on my rav4-ev a long time back, picked up a couple of codes, but nothing compared to what the factory scan tool picks up. Steve From: Kevin Kayden [mailto:[email removed]] Sent:...

I am wondering, is it essential that the Tech2 be factory GM and not a clone? I seem to remember long ago discussions about this, but I'm not sure. If a clone is acceptable, I might have a chance to get you (Ryan) one to borrow, just for the price of shipping each way. Kevin K...

Step one would be to check for power and ground and a pulse resulting from each output with a voltmeter. You will need to jack up only one wheel and spin it very slowly in neutral, otherwise the motor itself won't turn over, rather the differential will. Once, I had the encode...
