My truck is giving error codes 44 and 81 which has to do with Phase 1 of the triple phase power to the motor. In going through the data from that event (on the scan tool) I noticed the motor windings at 93F which I assume is OK. But the PIM (power inverter module) was 123F. I...

I also wonder if these go out because of lack of lubrication. I took my S10 in for regular maintenance (for the first time) and when I got it back I was amazed how much easier it was to turn the wheel. My concern is that the power steering has to overcome a lot of friction whe...

I have had an intermittent failure in the PSCM in my truck for about 10 months now. It failed completely in August 2008 and then strangely resuscitated itself 8 months later, just at the point when I had decided to pony up the $621 at the dealer for a new one. It now works mos...

What's the voltage? Maybe it was the High Voltage relay? If so then you'd need to perform a State Of Charge reset by separating the HV Disconnect connector under the hood and then threading the ground off of your 12V acc battery. As you do this you will hear a ton of clicking;...

Tom, how much do you want for one of those things? Are they new or rebuilt? I'd like to have one as a spare since two have failed in my S-10 so far. The one in there now has fits and starts as though the fluid is low, which it isn't. Best regards - Gar Harris On Thu, 04 Jun 20...
