Hi guys, For those interested here is a record of the inverter caps. search and PNs as of 2021.07. Steve 1-----
The original caps. were:
Marcon ? CWP-M; 450VDC 2200/uf; +85 degrees C; 3; 6E07-3A
2-----
Jeff Thomas? replacement caps. were:
BC -- 3186FD222T450APA1
CDE [Cornell Dubilier] owns BC
The CDE engineers do not recommend that we try and resurrect this PN due to mfg. improvements.
3-----
Jose?s replacement PN from 2015, as Eric and others have noted, is this PN:
Nichicon -- LNC2W222MSEG
CDE noted that Nichicon is a quality mgf., but did not comment otherwise on suitability.
4-----
After reviewing the above data CDE engineers recommend the following cap as a touch superior (temp/newer design unit) to Jeff?s original PN.
CDE -- 500C222M450CJ5F
Digikey is CDE?s distributor and has zero in stock. CDE requires Digikey to order a min. quantity of 30. Digikey requires the customer to order the entire lot of 30 units and will not allow orders of <30 units.

Because Digikey will not reduce the purchase limits (I asked for pricing on 8, 12, or 16 units), CDE has suggested a competitor?s product that they view as same for same. Mouser has 32 on order currently.
