Can anyone tell me the max amperage one can expect under re-gen? I know we're less than 20 amps on the charger, but suspect the re-gen would be higher?
Thanks,

Guys - a friend of mine was one of the original engineers on this program
(retired) so I forwarded this question to him. Here's his response
(somewhat edited). Note that he doesn't really like to be bothered with
questions unless they're coming from another experienced EV engineer (which
I am not) i.e, he's a grouchy old ex-GM engineer that had his baby
cancelled by management so he doesn't take kindly to certain questions.
But he is a wealth of information. "This question is so irrelevant I shouldn't even take the time to answer
it. Regen is based on many factors including SOC, Battery Temperature, Rate
of Decel, Speed the vehicle is traveling during Regen etc, etc. And any number that you give this is merely an instant or two in time since
none of those factors remain constant. I do vaguely remember that a peak number might(?) have been around 125
amps. But keep in mind that when I was doing battery drive cycle
simulation, it was 1996 and 1997. My retention on a data point like that is
long gone. I don't know why anyone would care what that absolute number is. To even
ask is to show less than a minimal understanding of what it takes to make
that work."

Seems easy for anyone with a running truck to get some representative
numbers using a tech2 or a palm pilot. Does anyone here still have a working truck, or are we all working on
upgrades at once? -Al On Tue, Jun 19, 2018 at 1:34 PM, Tom Chou <[email removed]> wrote: > ---------- Forwarded message ----------
