Hi Guys, Wondering if anyone recalls the old discussion on case ‘gear oil’ for the s10e/ev1 drive trains? We think it was something unique to this application, but I cannot seem to find it in any of the manuals/specs. Oddly, I find all the other fluids, but not the case oil. Thanks,

Yes SIr. We called it Hamster milk because for what GM charged us for it they must have milked it out of hamsters Mobil Infilrex EV Synthetic oil
GM part number 12371288

Maybe it is off-topic, but there was also a specific coolant needed for the S10-EV. I got a gallon jug of it long ago. I thought, that's strange, it looks like the label was put on top of another label. So when I peeled it off, it was a Havoline coolant (IIRC), rebranded as specific to the S10-EV. I don't know if there might be a "generic" equivalent to the oil? Kevin Kayden
