I am wondering, is it essential that the Tech2 be factory GM and not a clone? I seem to remember long ago discussions about this, but I'm not sure. If a clone is acceptable, I might have a chance to get you (Ryan) one to borrow, just for the price of shipping each way.

Maybe it is off-topic, but there was also a specific coolant needed for the S10-EV. I got a gallon jug of it long ago. I thought, that's strange, it looks like the label was put on top of another label. So when I peeled it off, it was a Havoline coolant (IIRC), rebranded as specific to the S10-EV.
I don't know if there might be a "generic" equivalent to the oil?
