[S10-EV] Motor/gears/drive unit value.

I was wondering, does anyone have an idea what they would value a
motor/drive unit/gears at if they were sold separately from one of the
S10 EVs? Thanks,

Issac,
Sounds like you're looking at options? But this is why I bought my S-10. If you wanted to build an electric
yourself, a good kit is around $10K. And that's DC, with no re-gen, A/C,
Heater...
I know nobody here wants to see one of these trucks dismantled for
components, but I see real value going that way. However, I'm apparently
one of the few that see's it that way. I have a Fiero based kit car. If
I couldn't get my truck up and running, I would have considered using
the parts to build my own. Kevin McMullin -----Original Message-----
